3 questions about baking…?



1) which ingredient(s) make a bread golden when heated?
2) can you list some ingredients that can add such as potatoes (in a bread)
e.g. ? cups of flour……… butter.. blah blah blah
3) i put too much cocoa powder (only a little) when i was making Chocolate Truffle Cookies . it tastes a little bitter, which ingredient(s) could i use to cover the bitterness of Chocolate Truffle Cookies?

3. Sugar covers it up well. If that doesn’t work try putting a little water on it and cooking it more

1) egg and sugar
2) you can add onions, cheese, herbs like rosemary.

1a) a little egg yolk and water on top will work
1b) Browning is caused by the sugars in the bread caramelizing.
1c) Butter or milk inside the bread like in a Challah bread can make it turn golden as well

2a) pepperoni
2b) cheese
2c) what flour

3. Go with sugar.

I always brush the top with melted butter right before baking, for flavor, and for the beautiful brown color.
Additions to bread;
honey
sour cream
7 grain cereal

To save your cookies either frost them, or dust them liberally with powdered sugar as one would with an actual truffle
